授業の目的・達成目標 This course emphasizes communicative evaluation and analysis. Students in this course will continue to develop their skills in reading, writing, and speaking English in academic situations. Students will read selected academic texts, learn skills for understanding these texts, and develop written and spoken responses to them. Students will develop critical thinking and independent learning skills. 【Objectives】 Students will ・develop independent learning skills ・learn how to organize information and structure an argument, and ・gain experience in preparing short academic presentations. Students are required to actively participate and complete all class activities and homework assignments. Together with writing skills, students will also practice speaking and presenting collaboratively through a group project and poster/oral presentation. Bring the following every class: (1) textbook, (2) notebook/tablet, (3) reference materials/dictionary, when necessary. Preparation: Do textbook activities for next class.
